Raised on a community pasture in Saskatchewan, Lisa's love for horses began from a very young age. Her competitive nature and skills with a horse took her to the rodeo arena, where she followed closely in the footsteps of many generations of rodeo champions in her family. This love for the sport of rodeo was passed on to Aaron. His natural ability with a horse allowed him to quickly excel in the team roping, and also prove to be successful in working with the young horses that Aaron and Lisa raise. Aaron and Lisa enjoy competing at rodeos at various levels of competition across Alberta and Saskatchewan. While Lisa remains an active participant in barrel racing, she and Aaron are unique in that they compete as one of few husband and wife teams in the team roping.
With a love of all things western, the Groves' Family has turned their love for horses and the sport of rodeo, into their goal...to produce horses of superior genetics, with the athleticism to win at any level of competition, in any event, the looks and conformation to catch anyone's eye, and the disposition to be handled by the smallest of cowboy.
